Meet Carl!

One of the “Red Puppies,” Carl is a sweet young Border Collie mix with a curious spirit and a nose for adventure! He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, he warms up and lets his lovable personality shine.

Carl enjoys exploring and following his nose wherever it leads, so a secure environment and continued training will be important as he grows. His interest in critters also means he is likely not a good match for a home with chickens.

With patience, socialization, continued training, and plenty of positive experiences, Carl is ready to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, curious pup who just needs a little time to win your heart, Carl may be your guy!

If you are interested in adopting Carl, please fill out an application and contact his foster parent at shuckj@cox.net. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Carl’s adoption fee is $350. Since he is too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided).
