About Sally May

WEIGHT: 30 lbs
COAT: Medium
COLOR: Black and White
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active Companion

Sally May has found her forever family!

Sally May came from a very loving family who realized at 14 months that they could not give her what she needed. Since coming to the farm, she has shown a great desire to herd most anything that moves. She is learning to play with other dogs, but still prefers to herd them when outside. She is around chickens, ducks, cats, horses, sheep, goats and cattle. She takes redirection well when her focus starts to draw her in to trouble.

Sally has not shown any extreme noise phobia, although she does want to get the weed eater when it first starts up. She is aware when in a new noisy place, but not fearful. She has been around children 7 and 9. At first she is very a bit whiny with puppy excitement, including wags and licks. She settles after a minute or two.

An active home would suit Sally best. At her young age, with her intelligence and desire to please, she could do most anything. In her other home, she was a lap-cuddler after a day of play.

If you’re looking for an active companion and possibly a helper, Sally may be the right fit.
