Meet Dusty!
Dusty is an energetic, good natured little guy who would love to find a person to have adventures with! He found himself in a shelter after nipping a child. He was just playing and his owners realized that he wasn’t the right fit for a home with several small children. He will be a wonderful companion for the right home!
At his foster home, he’s been staying busy playing with balls and discs and going for long walks. He’d make a great hiking partner or running buddy! He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and has a decent recall. His absolute favorite thing is riding in the car! Dusty has been fine with cats. He’s crate trained and sleeps quietly all night in one. Dusty lived as an only dog in his former home but could live with another dog.
He’s scheduled to be neutered November 2nd and will be available for adoption after he recovers from that.
If you are the perfect forever home for Dusty, please fill out an application and contact his foster parents at Csf22657@ptd.net. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.
Dusty’s adoption fee is $350.
