Meet Mae!

Mae is a very good puppy; she is smart and fun to train! She is food motivated which makes training a breeze! Mae is good in her crate and walks nicely on leash. House training is going well with a consistent schedule, and she is learning the basics like sit!

Mae is timid of new things and scared of sudden movement or loud noises but recovers quickly, encouragement and kindness helps! I think she was treated very well in her original home and was well socialized (maybe even spoiled a little!)

Mae is calm for a BC pup, a real cuddler. Definitely a companion dog and not a sport dog – except maybe one day search and rescue (traits of a scent hound!). She would make a nice pet for a family or perhaps an older, quieter person.

Mae gets along great with people, other dogs, and ignores the cat. She will make a great dog if raised with kindness and support to build her confidence!

BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Mae’s adoption fee is $300. Since she is too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided).
