Meet Reba!
Reba is a beautiful 3-year-old border collie ready to find her perfect home! She loves to go outside for jogs and has a lot of energy to burn. Reba is very cautious and fearful of new things, so she prefers the comfort and safety of her crate. Since Reba is so anxious, she would do best with a home that will keep her on a leash and be confident about handling her. She loves to push tennis balls around the house and be brushed. She will be a very rewarding dog for someone that will put time and positive structure into her life.
Reba at this stage, is considered a flight risk so a fenced yard is a must. If she gets spooked by something, she will run. Right now, she is kept on a leash or a long line when outside. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash, unless something spooks her. She really likes being with other dogs and certainly is more secure with them around. She just needs time to recover from being taken away from her home and family. Reba is spayed, on heartworm preventative, flea & tick preventative, up to date on shots, and healthy.
If you are the perfect forever home for Reba, please fill out an application and contact her foster parents at amandacasto16@gmail.com. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.
Reba’s adoption fee is $300.
