Meet Winston!

Winston is a handsome, almost 6-year-old Aussie! He is a very timid guy in the beginning but warms up quickly. Winston is more than happy to get out and do stuff with you or lounge around all day cuddling; as long as he’s with you he is down for anything! He is more of a woman’s dog but does warm up to men and loves them once they’re “his” person. He loves kid; their energy makes him happy! Winston is fully house and kennel trained, he is basic obedience trained – sit, down, wait, heel, come, leave it, off (he is so smart!). He is also head halter and muzzle trained. Winston is terrified at the vets but LOVES the groomers. He does love other dogs but needs time and space to warm up; he leaves cats alone as well. Winston will need a patient adopter who is willing to give him time and space to come out of his shell.

BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Winston’s adoption fee is $300.
