Meet Valerie!

Meet Valerie! One of the three puppies in her litter recently brought into rescue, Valerie is smart, outgoing, intrepid, and into everything! By all accounts, she’s the alpha of her litter with the big personality to back that up — if someone’s stirring the pot, it’s Val. The elder-statesman dog in her foster home was attempting to set boundaries about how much he did or did not want to play, and it took her about a day before he cracked and it was playtime. She’s probably a good candidate for an active home, is crate-trained, loves to be near her humans and do whatever they’re doing, and sleeps through the night.

BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Valerie’s adoption fee is $300. Since she is too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided).
