Meet Teddy!

Teddy is a five-month-old, purebred border collie who came to BRBCR when his owner/breeder moved away and couldn’t take him along. He is a very sweet, friendly, and bold boy. Teddy quickly learned that chasing a ball and frisbee is great fun! So far, Teddy has done well with every dog he has met and with kids. He could possibly go to a home with dog-savvy cats.

Teddy will be looking for a very active home or a home that is looking for their next sport prospect; he is not looking to just be a 2 walks a day dog. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been started on heartworm, flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in adopting Teddy, please fill out an application and contact his foster mom at csf22657@ptd.net. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Teddy’s adoption fee is $300. Since he is too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided).
