Meet Sunshine!

Sunshine is a fabulous and lovely pup! She came to BRBCR from a shelter, so we have little background information other than she was surrendered with her sister and most likely lived outside.

Sunshine’s name change was immediate and a must when this pup met her foster mom; she is absolutely delightful and has a bubbly personality! Think of a 15-week-old puppy in a 1-year-old body. What she lacks in manners and social skills she makes up for in enthusiasm and heart!

Sunshine is exuberant when meeting people, dogs, cats, bees…anything! Everything is fun for this energetic girl. Because of her enthusiasm and lack of social boundaries, she would do best with teens rather than younger children. Her foster’s dogs think she needs manners, but she is immediately submissive when corrected by other dogs. She does like to steal their toys and play keep away.

Sunshine is up to date on vaccines, HW, and flea/tick preventatives. She is healing from her spay and ready to go. She can be mischievous and needs to be supervised when loose. She may enjoy counter surfing and shoe collecting (possibly chewing) if she is given the chance. She takes correction to heart, super soft and biddable, and is very smart.

Sunshine has done well with housetraining. She is working on crate training and is typically quiet in crate or X-pen. She will make noise if she needs to go outside to potty or if she is lonesome. She will make an excellent companion and needs someone to call her own!

BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Sunshine’s adoption fee is $350.
