Meet Shadow!

Although she’s not a border collie, she does like to play with her border collie friends!

Shadow is a wonderfully nice and sweet dog with a laid-back personality. She enjoys being loved on, petted, and is fine with brushing or bathing.
While she looks like a pure German Shepherd, Shadow may be a mix—her unique personality and appearance make her truly one of a kind. She is a healthy and happy girl who knows commands like sit, down, stay, and go kennel.

Shadow is friendly with all people and gets along well with other dogs (cats are unknown). She is currently underweight but shows a healthy appetite for treats—especially when she can catch them mid-air!

True to her name, Shadow follows you around like your loyal companion. She rides well in vehicles and willingly jumps into a car or crate. She’s playful with toys but gentle enough not to destroy them. Shadow does need some work on not jumping up when you first meet her, but her excitement is just part of her loving nature. When she’s trotting around, her beautiful stride is a sight to behold.

If you are the perfect forever home for Shadow, please fill out an application and contact her foster parents at sylviaspets@aol.com. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Shadow’s adoption fee is $350.
