Meet Milo!
Milo came into rescue because of a divorce. He previously lived with three young children and has been a house dog his whole life. His former home was in a wooded, rural area so we’ve been practicing his social skills since he came to his foster home. So far, he’s been calm and well behaved everywhere he’s gone!
Milo is obedience trained, crate trained, and has good leash manners. He’s been practicing his doggy social skills and does well. In his foster home he regularly goes out with groups of dogs and has been good with everyone. Generally, he doesn’t seem to care about interacting with the other dogs and would describe him as dog neutral. He seems to feel that the cats are alien creatures and tries hard to avoid them.
For a Border Collie, Milo is medium energy. He does not require a lot of running time and is just beginning to play with toys. He seems a bit shut down from losing his home and will probably blossom in a home where he can have more human attention and interaction.
If you are the perfect forever home for Milo, please fill out an application and contact his foster parents at karinmaida@aol.com. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.
Milo’s adoption fee is $350.
