Meet Joy!

Joy is a fantastic 7.5-month-old puppy that has excellent manners with both her foster mom and the other dogs in the home! Joy is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She is energetic and loves to play, especially tug and she loves to snuggle! Joy is initially shy with new people but warms up quickly once she knows she’s safe. She’s smart and biddable and may be a good sport dog and/or active companion. Her foster renamed her Joy because this pup has such a joyful attitude and truly lives up to the name!

Joy was just spayed and will be ready to go to her forever home after 1/12/2026. Get your application in now to be pre-approved!

If you are the perfect forever home for Joy, please fill out an application and contact her foster parents at kellybrbcrfoster@gmail.com. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Joy’s adoption fee is $350.
