Meet Shadow!

Shadow is a very nice, sweet dog with a laid-back personality when inside, and likes to play outside, especially if she has a doggy friend. She’s fine just hanging around, going for walks, or a more active lifestyle like hiking. She’s easy going and adjusts to your lifestyle. Shadow definitely enjoys being loved on, petted, and is fine with brushing or bathing. She just loves attention!

Shadow has been bounced around from home to home in the past 2 years, but she takes it all in stride. She adapts to new situations fast. One of her previous homes took her to professional obedience training; she is well trained!

True to her name, Shadow follows you around like your loyal companion. She loves to go for car rides and she’s playful with toys but gentle enough not to destroy them. Shadow sleeps in a crate at night at her foster home and every morning her foster is greeted with excitement! That’s her nature – to be with someone.

Shadow is friendly with all people and gets along well with other dogs (cats, too!). She is currently a skinny girl but shows a healthy appetite when there’s canned food added to her kibble. She’ll also catch treats—she really likes the dried liver treats, beef or chicken flavored treats, or CHEESE!

If you are the perfect forever home for Shadow, please fill out an application and contact her foster parents at sylviaspets@aol.com. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period.

Shadow’s adoption fee is $350.
