JoJo is a delightful puppy! She loves people and other dogs and has the confidence of the lovingly raised little girl that she is. JoJo has adapted very well to her foster home, playing happily with the dogs here, especially a slightly older puppy brother.
While it's hard to tell a dog's personality at this age, Jojo acts very much like a border collie—smart, active and with a take-charge personality. She is sure to grow up to be an energetic, enthusiastic partner in all sorts of activities. She would do best with experienced adults and older children who can help with her training. She would also be great with another dog.
Jojo has been wormed and had age-appropriate vaccinations, but will need additional vaccines in her new home. She will also need to be spayed when she is old enough. She has begun potty training, preferring to go outside rather than using the papers in her pen. While she sleeps in a crate through the night, she will need to be let out after every meal and play session, and every hour or two during the day. With such a schedule, she cannot be placed in a home where she will be alone all day.
If you'd like to add this charmer to your family, fill out an application then contact her foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org. All potential adopters are required to have a home visit prior to placement of one of our rescues. JoJo's adoption fee is $300 plus a spay/neuter deposit of $150 (refundable upon proof of spay), and we offer a two-week trial period when you adopt one of our dogs.
Thank you for considering a rescue!
