Willow is a beautiful girl about 2 years old. She is a super sweet girl. She has been very good with everyone. She was given to us by a young lady who wanted to travel a bit after college. Willow is good in the house, listens (most of the time) and comes when I call her. She is smart and learns quickly. She is very food motivated. She is interested in toy, will catch a tennis ball – we haven’t tried a frisbee, as playing frisbee or ball with another dog drives my own dog crazy.
Willow is good with my little dogs, that is to say, she totally ignores them. She would be great with older, dog savvy children. I am not sure yet about cats.
Willow loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. She has learned to sit before we go out for a walk. She is housebroken and good in the house – although I have not given her the chance to counter surf, as I think, because she is so food motivated, she wouldn’t hesitate…..
Willow is mostly good walking on-leash. She doesn’t try to pull much at all, but she does stop to sniff. With more practice she will learn not to stop every 10 feet to sniff.
Willow is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
To start the adoption process, please fill out our application and contact Willow’s foster mom, Sue Weis, at email@example.com. All potential adopters are required to have a home visit prior to placement of one of our rescues. Willow's adoption fee is $300, and we offer a two-week trial period when you adopt one of our dogs.
Thank you for considering a rescue!
